A 29-year-old unemployed man known as "Bossing" was arrested after allegedly selling shabu to a poseur-buyer in a buy-bust operation that yielded 71.10 grams of suspected shabu worth P483,480 in Las Piñas City early Thursday, Aug. 27.
Las Piñas Police chief Col. Fermin Armendarez said Bossing, a resident of Naic, Cavite, was collared at about 2:43 a.m. along Gatchalian Drive in Barangay Manuyo Dos.
Police reported that a poseur-buyer successfully completed a transaction with the suspect, leading to his arrest.
Recovered from him were four heat-sealed sachets containing the suspected shabu, a black leather sunglasses case, and three P100 bills used as buy-bust money.
Bossing remains in police custody while charges for alleged violations of Republic Act No. 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, are being prepared for filing before the City Prosecutor’s Office.
