Armed riders take cash, phone, liquor in Rizal store holdup

Authorities are hunting down two motorcycle‑riding men who allegedly robbed a convenience store cashier and took several items, including a bottle of liquor, in Teresa, Rizal, on Wednesday night, Aug. 26.
The Rizal Police Provincial Office (Rizal PPO) said the robbery occurred inside the convenience store on Sitio Pantay Buhangin Road in Barangay Dalig around 11:30 p.m.
The female cashier said the suspects declared a hold-up and threatened to shoot her.
“Holdap ‘to. Akin na ‘yung pera. Babarilin ka namin (This is a hold-up. Give us the money or we’ll shoot you),” the cashier recalled the suspects telling her.
The suspects then took cash, a mobile phone, and a bottle of Alfonso liquor before fleeing.
Authorities said the suspects were riding a black-and-gray Mio i125.
The driver was wearing a blue hat, a gray-and-white jacket, and a white balaclava covering his face, while the back rider was wearing a black hat, a balaclava around his neck, and a black jacket with “Drift Custom” printed in white on the front.
Police are still working to identify and arrest the suspects.
