Mitsubishi Motors Corporation is bringing back the Pajero. As proof its intention, the company has finally provided a date for its world premiere. The new Pajero will be unveiled on Sept. 2, 2026. Mitsubishi has yet to confirm where the highly anticipated model will be unveiled, though the whole world will likely find out via a live videostream of the event.
Very little information has been provided. Mitsubishi has simply teased the outline of its daytime running lamps displayed prominently on its façade.
What we do know for sure is that it will still be mounted on a durable ladder frame chassis paired with a suspension system geared for on-road and off-road performance. This combination provides exceptional off-road capability, even over rough terrain with large bumps and significant impacts. At the same time, it delivers refined on-road comfort by suppressing unwanted body movement and vibration on rough or uneven roads, helping to ease strain over long distances and ensure comfort for everyone on board.
It will also be fitted with Super-All Wheel Control (S-AWC) technology, an integrated vehicle dynamics control system that optimizes handling, off-road capability and stability across diverse driving scenarios.
Interested parties can see the teaser for the new Pajero on Mitsubishi’s dedicated website. However, very little information is being revealed. Nonetheless, we can be sure the complete specs will be presented in due time.
