Ivana Alawi is back to making content.

This time, she is not promoting a giveaway or showing off her usual lifestyle content.

She was repacking relief goods.

It was seemingly innocent enough but for her caption.

“Kamusta kayo, kamusta ang flood control? Yung bilyon-bilyong pondo?”

“Habang may mga Pilipinong nalulunod sa baha.... Sorry, hindi natin pwedeng kalimutan.”

She didn't stop there.

“Wag tayo gumawa ng ibang issue para matakpan yung mas importanteng issue.”

“May DAPAT MANGYARI.”

“Dapat MAY SOLUSYON.”

Her message is hard to miss.

Note that it comes as questions over the government's flood-control program continue to make headlines.

And, incidentally, it comes only a few days after the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) announced that it had fined an online gaming company P1 million over a promotional campaign involving Alawi.

The issue involved a promotional campaign for a supposed giveaway of 100 iPhones.

PAGCOR Chairman Alejandro Tengco said the company did not secure the regulator's approval for the promotion.

The regulator also said around 12 to 15 online content creators and influencers have been charged for promoting illegal online gaming platforms.

It was not immediately clear if Alawi was among those charged.

Is the timing of Alawi's latest post connected to the recent controversy?

Only Alawi knows.

What is clear is that she is back to doing what she does best, turning heads one content at a time.
