Four schools in Batangas receive bomb threats

BATANGAS CITY- Four schools here and in Balayan town, this province, reportedly received bomb threats through social media, causing fear, alarm, and disturbance among school occupants on Tuesday morning, Aug. 25.
The police report said the Batangas City Integrated High School (BCIHS), Balayan National High School (BNHS), Balayan East Central School, and Immaculate Conception College in Balayan received messages threatening the schools with bomb attacks.
The Provincial Explosives Canine Unit responded to conduct paneling and secure the premises of the schools.
Police investigated the origin of the messages.
