AZ Martinez, Ralph De Leon, Michael Sager reunite in new series

Fans who enjoyed watching AZ Martinez, Ralph De Leon and Michael Sager together in “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition” have something to look forward to.

The three former housemates are reuniting for a new romantic comedy series, “The Way Back to You.”

Viu announced the project on Aug. 26 along with first-look images of the three leads.

AZ, Ralph and Michael will play the leads in the series, which revolves around a love triangle involving Julia (AZ), Tristan (Ralph) and Patrick (Michael).

The story is set in a fictional provincial town known for its onion farms and looks at first love and the realities of love in the present.

“The Way Back to You” will be directed by JP Habac, whose films include the romantic drama “I’m Drunk, I Love You.”

Rein Entertainment is handling the line production, while award-winning writer and filmmaker Shugo Praico serves as creative head.

Production is set to begin in September.
