Korean actor Jang Dong-yoon to marry actress Kim Seung-yoon

Korean actor Jang Dong-yoon, 34, and actress Kim Seong-yoon, 28, are tying the knot in October.

Jang Dong-yoon made the surprise announcement via Instagram on Aug. 25.

“This coming October, I will be marrying the person I have been with for a long time. We plan to hold a quiet wedding ceremony in the presence of both families,” he said.

He added that they have “spent a lot of time together, we came to know each other's various sides, and through that, we came to understand and cherish each other even more.”

Jang Dong-yoon and Kim Seung-yoon worked together in the 2019 drama “The Tale of Nokdu.” The two starred in Jang Dong-yoon’s directorial debut short film “Please Be My Ear” released in 2023.

Kim Seung-yoon is also the star of Jang Dong-yoon’s film “The Yeast” that was released last April.
