13 injured in multi-vehicle crash in Manila

Thirteen passengers were injured in a multi-vehicle collision involving two jeepneys, a truck, an SUV, and a motorcycle along Legarda Bridge toward Ramon Magsaysay Avenue in Manila early Tuesday, Aug. 25.
The Manila City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Department (MDRRMD) reported that a jeepney allegedly lost its brakes and struck another, leading to successive collisions with a motorcycle, an SUV, and a truck.
Most of the victims suffered abrasions and bruises, with no major injuries reported.
Emergency teams rushed them to nearby hospitals for treatment. (Shane Qulachon)
