XPENG has confirmed that it will formally launch in the Philippines in September 2026, following its earlier announcement of a third-quarter entry into the local market. The Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer will introduce the XPENG X9 and L03 during a public launch event. The event will give prospective customers their first opportunity to see the brand’s initial Philippine models. The venue, activities, and registration details have yet to be announced. XPENG will operate locally through XPENG Philippines, its direct subsidiary and national sales and marketing company. The local operation will oversee the brand’s sales, marketing, vehicle distribution, and retail activities in the country.
The X9 will serve as the flagship model in the initial lineup. It is a seven-seat vehicle designed around passenger comfort, AI-powered technologies, and a premium cabin. XPENG is positioning it for families, business leaders, and technology-oriented professionals.
Joining it is the XPENG L03, which the company describes as an intelligent SUV coupe. The model combines contemporary styling with AI-powered technology and software-based vehicle systems.
