A stalled wing van trailer caused moderate to heavy traffic along Mindanao Avenue toward the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) northbound lane in Quezon City on Monday, Aug. 24.
The trailer stopped on the road due to a mechanical failure, prompting the Traffic and Transport Management Department (TTMD) to assist motorists affected by the traffic buildup.
TTMD personnel were on standby in the area to provide assistance to motorists as traffic remained moderate to heavy.
The TTMD also coordinated with the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) for the removal of the stalled vehicle and the restoration of normal traffic flow.
Motorists passing through the area were advised to expect slower traffic and exercise caution while the stalled vehicle was being cleared.
