Bulacan governor highlights education investment

The Provincial Government of Bulacan (PGB), led by Governor Daniel R. Fernando, reinforced its commitment to strengthening public education with the inauguration of a two‑level, four‑classroom building at National Power Corporation High School in Barangay San Lorenzo, Norzagaray.

The P9‑million project, funded under the Special Education Fund, includes a handwashing facility and can accommodate up to 200 students.
Provincial Public Affairs Office (PPAO) Officer‑in‑Charge Khristina Alexis Mendoza‑Talavera said the new facility was designed to provide a secure and comfortable environment that supports academic performance while addressing the school’s growing population.
Governor Fernando stressed that investing in educational infrastructure remains a vital priority.
“Patuloy po nating tututukan ang pangangailangan ng ating mga paaralan dahil ang pagbibigay ng maayos at ligtas na learning environment ay mahalagang bahagi ng paghubog sa kinabukasan ng ating mga kabataan (We will continue to focus on the needs of our schools because providing a proper and safe learning environment is an important part of shaping the future of our youth),” he said, adding that each classroom built represents an opportunity for students to learn, dream, and achieve their goals.
Local educators, school officials, and representatives from municipal and provincial governments joined the turnover ceremony, marking what Fernando described as another step toward ensuring Bulakenyo students are equipped with the tools and facilities needed for success.
