AAFI to mark 50th year

Aliw Awards Foundation Inc. (AAFI) is getting ready to celebrate its 50th anniversary to coincide with the 39th Aliw Awards night on December 7, 2026, at the Manila Hotel Fiesta Pavilion.

AAFI was registered in 1976 with the SEC, and the first Aliw Awards night was held in 1977. Except for a ten-year hiatus, Aliw Awards night had been held at different venues, mostly at the Manila Hotel.

The significant event will benefit the Dugtong Alay Dugtong Buhay and Aliw projects.

Nominations for the more than 50 categories will be open by October 1, 2026.

Performances must be held starting October 1, 2025 to October 2026.
