15-hour water interruption to affect 5 Las Piñas barangays

Residents of five barangays in Las Piñas City were advised to store enough water as Maynilad Water Services, Inc. scheduled a service interruption lasting about 15 hours starting Wednesday night, Aug. 26.
The affected barangays are Almanza Uno, Pilar, Talon Uno, Talon Dos, and Talon Singko.
According to the water concessionaire, the interruption will start at 10:00 p.m. on Aug. 26 and is expected to last until 1:00 p.m. on Aug. 27.
The temporary loss of water supply is due to scheduled maintenance works at the Marcos Alvarez Pumping Station and the Magdiwang Pumping Station and Reservoir.
Residents, particularly households with children, senior citizens, and those with businesses that require water, were encouraged to prepare and store sufficient supply ahead of the scheduled maintenance.
Maynilad appealed to affected consumers for their patience and understanding while the maintenance activities are being carried out
