Ruru Madrid and Bianca Umali have talked about marriage.

“We definitely talk about it all the time. But it’s really just a matter of finding the right timing,” Ruru told us.

For now, the couple is enjoying where they are in their lives and making the most of the things they once only dreamed of doing.

“Siyempre we’re doing lots of things na dating pinangarap lang po namin and of course, we want to maximize that,” Ruru said.

Marriage, however, is hardly a secret between them. Ruru said they have already talked about it with their families.

When asked if seeing his sister Rere get married to basketball player Kai Sotto had made him feel any pressure to finally tie the knot with Bianca, he made clear, "Hindi naman."

Ruru said there is no point rushing something as big as marriage just because the people around them are moving on to the next stage of their lives.

“When it comes to getting married, no one can really say exactly when that will happen. Once the two of us feel that it’s the right time to take that step, then we’ll do it,” he said.

So whether it happens this year, next year or a few years from now, Ruru is leaving the timing to the two of them.

“As long as maramdaman po namin kung itong taon na to or next year man or sa mga susunod pang mga taon, ’di natin masasabi.”
