FASHION PULIS: Blooming love

Published Aug 22, 2026 11:11 am

“Give them a chance” is the battle cry for relationships that are just beginning to bloom. Whenever fans see celebrities hanging around each other often, many wish that a new relationship is about to happen. By contrast, other celebrities hide their dates, fearing they will be subjected to relentless questions by the press. They might not even be sure of the relationship themselves, or they may believe that exposing it too early could jinx its potential.

Regardless of their beliefs, several famous people have bravely stepped out in public with their significant others. Others have admitted their status, while some have kept away from any admission despite the obvious.

Some time ago, a pair dared to be seen together in public. The young couple are both well-educated and could land executive positions in any field. Yet show business is in their blood, given that their parents have made their mark in the industry and in their respective fields. As a result, their sighting received feedback from those who wished them well.

However, the circle of Young Boy (YB) is in doubt about his sincerity. Allegedly, YB might be on the rebound. He was emotional and resorted to drinking to drown his sorrow after his breakup. While Young Female (YF) had similar issues, she has definitely moved on. Now, YB must prove to his doubters that he is ready to face love again. Will YF be the one?

He never learns

Suave Performer (SP) never learned. Over the years, SP has established a reputation as a reliable performer. When he steps onto the stage, the audience goes wild, showing their appreciation for his talent. However, SP has always been considered aloof, as he often dodges the press and rarely shares details about his personal life. His aloofness lessened when he became entangled with high-profile celebrities.

Despite his seemingly low profile, SP has an open secret. SP has long been rumored to be a ladies’ man behind the scenes. Using his charm, talent, and fame, he would get in touch with the woman he fancies. His fingers can’t seem to stay away from his phone, as he texts his targets to let them know he is interested.

One day, SP set his eyes on Pretty Woman (PW). The problem was that PW was already in a very serious relationship. Her Fiancé (HF), though not in the same circle as SP, was aware of SP’s moves and style. PW was so bothered that she told HF that SP had been sending her DMs.

HF did not take the situation sitting down, but he did not resort to violence either. Instead, HF merely sent a comment. These days, words can do the job that fists once could have done. Public exposure became the powerful weapon of choice.

Exposing SP’s sly moves toward a younger woman could damage his reputation. Consequently, SP backed off and allegedly no longer followed PW.
