Madonna marked her 68th birthday with people closest to her, celebrating with five of her six children and boyfriend Akeem Morris during a getaway to the Greek island of Corfu.
The pop superstar gave fans a glimpse of the celebration on Instagram, Aug. 16.
Among the photos was of Madonna dressed in an elaborate multicolored Dolce & Gabbana dress, paired with a bright pink floral headpiece and gold accessories.
She later changed into a white ensemble as she and her guests continued the celebration.
“It’s My Birthday! Eat, Pray, Love, Drink, Dance, Break plates, Feed Cats!! Thank you G*D!” Madonna wrote in the caption.
The birthday dinner was held at a traditional taverna in Kouramades, a village in Corfu.
As to the celebrant's cake, it was large, heart-shaped with a white-and-gold evil-eye design.
The birthday celebration was part of a longer Greek vacation for the singer, who reportedly spent the week in Corfu with family and friends. The trip included time at sea and a visit to Meteora, the historic complex of monasteries in central Greece.
The festivities came at a particularly busy time for Madonna.
Earlier this week, she became the leading nominee for the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards, earning 11 nominations, her highest total in a single year.
She also received nominations connected to her collaboration with Sabrina Carpenter, “Bring Your Love.”
The 2026 MTV VMAs will air live from Los Angeles on Sept. 27.
