Lea Salonga reunites with Disney princesses for concert in California

Lea Salonga returned to the world of Disney princesses recently, sharing the stage with some of the women who helped bring the beloved characters to life.

The Filipino Broadway star was among featured performers in “Disney Princess: The Ultimate Concert Celebration,” held in Anaheim, California. 

Salonga, who provided the singing voices of Princess Jasmine in “Aladdin” and Fa Mulan in “Mulan,” performed two songs during the celebration.

She first teamed up with Brandy, who played Cinderella in the 1997 television film “Cinderella,” for “A Whole New World.”

Salonga then took the spotlight on her own for “Reflection,” Mulan’s signature song.

Note, Salonga was named a Disney Legend in 2011, recognizing her contribution to the company’s legacy.

The singer and actress has continued to represent Disney on major stages in recent years.

In January, she performed at the 20th anniversary celebration of Hong Kong Disneyland.

Two months later, she appeared at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore for the inaugural celebration of the Disney Adventure cruise ship.

Now, she has added another Disney milestone to an already long list, reuniting with fellow princesses for a concert that celebrates some of the most recognizable songs in the studio’s history.
