GAC launches GS4 Max HEV

GAC Motor has just launched the GAC GS4 Max HEV, a next-generation hybrid SUV. The GS4 MAX delivers a high-value blend of maximum space, comfort, safety, and efficiency.
Powering the vehicle is GAC’s 2.0L Atkinson-cycle dedicated hybrid engine paired with a two-speed Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT) and a 2.1 kWh Nickel Cobalt Manganese (NCM) battery. Combining modern architectural aesthetics with GAC’s advanced hybrid technology, the multi-mode system seamlessly transitions between Pure Electric (EV), Hybrid (HV), Direct Engine Drive, and Energy Recuperation modes.
Powered by an Atkinson-cycle HEV engine, the system achieves a combined power output of 232-HP and a maximum motor torque of 300-N·m. Designed to optimize output while minimizing fuel consumption, it delivers an outstanding total combined driving range of up to 1,250-kilometers on a single tank, offering electric vehicle-like responsiveness with long-range peace of mind for daily city commutes and weekend getaways.
Family-ready space and comfort
Tailored specifically for family-oriented users, the cabin is thoughtfully designed to maximize spatial freedom and passenger comfort on every journey.
On the tech front, driver control is centered around a 10.1-inch Multifunctional Touchscreen compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 7-inch LCD Digital Instrument Cluster, an aircraft-inspired gear selector, and a 50W Wireless Smartphone Charger with built-in cooling fan technology. Externally, its clean, confident presence is framed by a bold Qilin-inspired front fascia, Qingyun Ladder matrix grille, Morning Star LED headlights, full-width Changhong LED taillights, and electric hidden door handles.
Thanks to a generous 2,750 mm wheelbase and an expansive 1,901 mm wide body profile, the GS4 MAX HEV provides class-leading legroom and shoulder room across both rows. The interior features a modern minimalist black cabin crafted for low-maintenance elegance, framed by an expansive panoramic glass roof with an electric sunshade that bathes the space in natural light.
Passengers benefit from zero-pressure comfort seats with precision piping and extensive perforation for superior long-distance support. Designed around real-world family needs, the cabin incorporates whisper-quiet acoustic insulation, rear passenger air vents, and smart storage compartments throughout. When maximum cargo capacity is required, the second-row seats fold completely flat to unlock a seamless, unobstructed load floor.
Advanced safety, smart tech
Built around a robust safety-cage body structure comprising high-strength and ultra-high-strength steel in critical load-bearing areas, protection is further anchored by an Airbag Protection System equipped with dual front, front side, second-row side airbags, and seamless one-piece woven side curtain airbags.
Driving confidence is elevated by a full Level 2 Driver Assistance Suite, including Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB-VRU), Traffic Jam Assist (TJA), Lane Keep Assist (LKA), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), and Integrated Cruise Assist (ICA), alongside a Surround View Camera System.
The GS4 Max HEV is priced at P1,298,000, but is currently offered at an introductory price of P1,218,000, giving early buyers as much as P80,000 savings. Reservations are now open at GAC dealerships nationwide. The following Introductory pricing is available for reservations made until September 30, 2026.

The GS4 Max comes with a five-year or 150,000 km basic warranty, complemented by an eight-year or 150,000 km policy for the power battery, driving motor, and motor control unit.
