A 37‑year‑old motorcycle rider was injured after being hit by a wing van at the intersection of Bulacan Street and R10 in Manila on Wednesday, Aug. 19.
According to the Manila Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), the rider sustained a deep wound on his arm and swelling in his leg, which responders said may indicate a possible fracture.
Emergency responders assisted him at the scene before bringing him to the nearest hospital for further treatment.
Motorists were reminded to exercise caution, drive at a safe speed, and yield to other road users even when traffic is light.
Authorities are investigating the incident.
