I was looking forward to bringing the Oppo Find X9s to Singapore. For one, it was officially my first time using a phone with a Hasselblad camera system. If you’re not familiar, Hasselblad is a Swedish camera maker that has made cameras since 1941. The Oppo Find X9s is co-developed with Hasselblad and has been touted as a "True Travel Companion."

So it was perfect for my trip to Singapore.

The phone's weight and size are ideal for taking on a day out as a tourist in another city or country. With a height of 156 mm, a width of 73 mm, and a weight of about 202 grams, carrying it around with heavy usage- from taking photos and videos to using it to navigate through your itinerary- won’t feel heavy or tire your hand and wrist out.

The 6.59-inch screen also felt just the right size, with a 120Hz refresh rate that made app navigation easy. It also has 460ppi and 3600 nits of peak brightness, which makes it easy on the eyes if you want to stream content while waiting for your flight or on the plane.

It did rain while I was in Singapore, but I didn’t have to worry about the Oppo Find X9s because of its IP66 & IP68 & IP69 Water & Dust Resistance. Its SGS-certified drop resistance also assured me it could survive accidental drops, which is a big plus since trips can be unpredictable and you have to be ready in case your phone gets bumped or dropped.

When out on trips, battery life is very important; you wouldn’t want to run out of battery in a foreign country. The Oppo Find X9S’ 7025mAh battery can last almost a day – around 22 hours with heavy use.

And of course, the piece de resistance – the camera system! As I mentioned at the start of the review, it was my first time using a Hasselblad camera system, and I was really impressed. I loved how vivid the colors were, and how easy it was to take beautiful pictures while on the go. It has a triple 50MP camera system – Yup! All three cameras are 50MP! That’s pretty impressive. There is a 50MP Ultra-Clear Main Camera, a 50MP Ultra-Wide Camera, and a 50MP Periscope Telephoto Camera. I also love the frosted ‘H’ for Hasselblad on one of the ultra-wide lenses; that is such a nice touch.

Back home from my trip, transferring photos and videos from the Oppo Find X9S to my laptop using Quick Share was a smooth and easy process. I was also able to take it to a couple of events, and I’m happy to report that it was able to capture impressive zoom photos.

If taking good photos is important to you and you want a phone that’s easy to use and can last a day of heavy use, you might want to consider the Oppo Find X9s. Whether you are on a trip or just at home, using it for content and work, it can surely keep up.
