Main suspect in Taguig shooting arrested in Rizal

The Taguig police announced on Thursday, Aug. 20, the arrest of the main suspect in a shooting incident that left one man dead and another injured.
The suspect allegedly shot and killed a 40-year-old man and wounded a 21-year-old man in Pulong Kendi, Barangay Sta. Ana, on Aug. 17.
Personnel from the Taguig Police Sub-station 4 responded to the incident and rushed the victims to the hospital. The 40-year-old was pronounced dead on arrival.
Police identified the main suspect as alias “Teter,” who was arrested along with five accomplices in Barangay Palangoy, Binangonan, Rizal, on Aug. 19.
Authorities said they were able to track down the suspect through investigation and follow up operations.
The Taguig police earlier denied claims that they were slow to respond to the shooting incident and clarified that no student was harmed.
