Aquino family visits relocated Ninoy marker at NAIA

Members of the family of the late Senator Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr. visited Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 to view the marker honoring him at its new location along the improved arrivals curbside.
The marker now stands directly in front of the repositioned “Ninoy Aquino International Airport” name on the terminal facade, symbolically linking the gateway’s identity with Aquino’s legacy.
NNIC Chairman Ramon S. Ang welcomed the Aquino family and accompanied them to the site.
The visit came a day before Ninoy Aquino Day on Aug. 21, when the National Historical Commission of the Philippines led the official commemoration at NAIA.
