Unbloc Roblox showcases how people play, create, connect, and build

At the ‘UNBOX ROBLOX’ event held in Manila, the Philippines, for members of the media, Roblox showcased its platform to highlight how people use the platform to play, create, learn, connect, and experience immersive brand and entertainment content.
The familiarization session gave media participants the opportunity to get hands-on with the platform and explore it through the perspectives of a player, parent, creator, and partner. The session featured guided demonstrations, platform exploration, and conversations with the Roblox team, offering a broader view of how people engage with and build on Roblox.
The player experience showcased the range of immersive experiences available on Roblox, spanning gaming, music, learning, and entertainment, with a focus on the age-based accounts, Roblox Kids and Roblox Select, launched earlier this year for under 9 and under-15 users of the platform.
The parent lens introduced tools and resources that help families navigate their children’s digital experiences. Family Zone, launched in July 2026, offers parents and children an interactive way to explore Roblox together, while parental controls and educational resources available on the platform provide families with greater visibility and guidance.
The creator lens highlighted Roblox Studio, which allows users to build and publish their own experiences. The session introduced Build, a new mobile-first creation tool within the Roblox app that lets anybody be a creator and turn text prompts into a starting game they can iterate on, playtest, and publish, all without leaving the app.
Roblox also has a flourishing creator community in the Philippines. The session highlighted the vibrant local creator community which includes creators like Theo (@sausagerate) and Clark (@clarck2317) to name a few. These creators have reached global audiences across the world on the platform and demonstrate how Filipino creators are using Roblox Studio to develop ideas into experiences played by audiences around the world.
Finally, the partner lens showcased how brands, artists, and other organizations can use Roblox to build immersive experiences and engage communities. Programs on The Block on Roblox demonstrated how the platform can extend into entertainment, music and other forms of interactive engagement.
