The Bazaar's 'House of Local' to gather over 70 Filipino brands in Makati
More than 70 Filipino businesses will take part in The Bazaar's "House of Local" this August, bringing together established brands, emerging entrepreneurs, and first-time exhibitors for a weekend focused on discovering and supporting local businesses
The Bazaar, founded by Johan Salazar and Bella Concepcion, is set to present “House of Local” on Aug. 22 and 23 at the SoFA Design Institute in Rockwell Center, Makati.
Held in celebration of Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa, “House of Local” is a special series by The Bazaar that highlights Filipino creativity, entrepreneurship, and homegrown businesses. The two-day event will bring together established local names, emerging businesses, and first-time exhibitors across fashion, beauty, food, lifestyle, home, and other categories.
The series builds on The Bazaar’s mission of creating opportunities for entrepreneurs to showcase their products, reach wider audiences, and connect directly with consumers, content creators, influencers, and fellow business owners. The Bazaar’s events have welcomed an average of around 1,200 visitors, giving participating businesses an opportunity to introduce their brands to an engaged and growing community.
“The Bazaar has always been about giving businesses more than just a space to sell,” said Bella Concepcion, co-founder and Marketing, PR, and Partnerships lead of The Bazaar. “We want to create opportunities for brands to be discovered, connect with new audiences, and build relationships that can continue beyond our events.”
Visitors to House of Local can expect a curated mix of fashion and beauty finds, specialty food concepts, lifestyle and home products, exclusive promotions, influencer appearances, interactive activities, and other experiences throughout the weekend.
By bringing brands of different sizes and stages together, House of Local gives emerging entrepreneurs an opportunity to gain greater visibility while creating a space where consumers can discover and support Filipino businesses.
The event also provides an opportunity for shoppers to interact directly with local entrepreneurs and learn more about the products and stories behind the brands participating in the two-day event.
The event is supported by several brand, media, and industry partners, including Continuiti, Inquirer, Manila Bulletin, SharkNinja, The Manila Times, and When In Manila.
House of Local by The Bazaar will take place on Aug. 22 and 23, from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the SoFA Design Institute, Rockwell Center, Makati.
