Flooding subsided in all monitored areas of Quezon City by 12:27 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19, with every location in the latest road‑status report marked clear.

The affected areas were in Barangays Apolonio Samson, Damayan, Del Monte, Doña Imelda, Doña Josefa, Manresa, Mariblo, Masambong, Paang Bundok, Sauyo, Sienna, Sto. Domingo (Matalahib), and Tatalon.
Among the locations where flooding had subsided were Parkway Village Streets-Geraldine corner Christine and Lagusan Street in Barangay Apolonio Samson; portions of West Riverside, San Pedro Bautista, Morato, and Caragay in Barangay Damayan; and West Riverside corner Pat Senador in Barangay Del Monte.
Floodwaters also subsided at 29, 42, and 48 Kapiligan in Barangay Doña Imelda; Q Avenue corner D. Tuazon in Barangay Doña Josefa; G. Araneta corner Mauban in Barangay Manresa; Bernardo corner De Vera in Barangay Mariblo; Malasimbo Street near Masambong Elementary School and Capoas Street corner Toctocan Street in Barangay Masambong; A. Boni corner Mariveles in Barangay Paang Bundok; and Garden View at the back of Papelan in Barangay Sauyo.
In Barangay Sienna, flooding had subsided at several portions of N.S. Amoranto, including its intersections with Banawe, Bingo, Ubay, Palali, Tabayoc, Biak na Bato, and Don Jose streets, as well as Don Jose Street corner Sct. Alcaraz Street.
Floodwaters likewise subsided at several locations in Barangay Sto. Domingo (Matalahib), including portions of Biak na Bato, Don Jose, Don Pepe, Banawe, Sto. Domingo, Tabing Ilog, Maria Clara, and G. Araneta.
In Barangay Tatalon, flooding along Kaliraya to Elga also subsided.
Metro Manila, including Quezon City, was placed under an orange rainfall warning based on the 11 a.m. advisory of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
The Quezon City government reminded residents to remain cautious and prepared for possible rain and flooding and urged them to call the Quezon City Helpline 122 in case of emergencies.
