After being sighted several times with businessman Martin Tan, actress Bela Padilla was finally asked about the real status of their relationship recently.
"Hindi pa jowa e, parang getting to know pa lang," Bela said.
Bela then shared the advice given to her by "Life After You" co-star Maricel Soriano when it comes to love.
"Unang-unang sinabi sa akin ni inay is wag na wag kang iiyak over a guy, kapag umiyak ka na, leave. Natutunan ko naman siya and so far hindi pa naman po ako umiiyak, masaya pa naman ako," Bela said.
Bela and Martin were first seen together during the opening of a pet lifestyle clinic.
They were spotted together again following the launch of Bela's play, "People, Places, and Things."
Based on her comment on the photo, it seems that Bela is no longer denying that the man in question is indeed her new source of inspiration.
She wrote: "Your caption is so sweet!! Thank you"
Working with Maricel Soriano
Bela is teaming up for the first time with Maricel in VIVA's upcoming drama film, "Life After You."
Maricel shared how honored she is to be working alongside Bela.
"Ay, napakabongga. Kasi wala kaming ginawa, kundi magdaldalan ng magdaldalan. At saka, yung mga eksena namin iyakin. Pero kami dalawa, tawa lang kami ng tawa. Kasi nga, masaya kami. And she's very, ano, she's very intelligent. She's a good actress, and she's pretty," Maricel said.
Meanwhile, Bela took the opportunity to thank Maricel for bringing back her spark while shooting.
"She made me remember why I love this job so much. She made me realize also na, yun nga, it's not always parang, I guess, sunshine and rainbows in our profession. Kasi, parang my whole life, I treated this job and this profession that way.
"And then, yun nga, parang it got challenging for a bit. And then Inay made me realize why I came here in the beginning. Why acting is so important to us and why we love it so much and why being a storyteller is so important, especially in times like this.
"Our country's going through such difficult times. It's so nice that we get to tell stories that give hope and make people feel good. So, she brought that back to me," Bela said.
