PCG conducts de-clogging in flooded areas in Tingloy, Batangas

TINGLOY, Batangas-The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Sub-Station (CGSS) Tingloy conducted clearing and de-clogging operations in some barangays here on Tuesday, Aug. 18, following the major flooding on the main road caused by heavy rainfall.
Barangays 13 and 15 were the most affected by floodings, stranding commuters and submerging residential houses.
The operation is in coordination with the MDRRMO Tingloy, barangay officials, and local volunteers who removed debris and other obstructions from waterways to facilitate the proper flow of floodwater and prevent further flooding.
The floodwater gradually subsided and no untoward incident was reported.
