The Nationals bucked a slow start before finally getting their bearings going with a back-breaking 33-0 run bridging the third and final frames to arrange a match against Syria for the qualification for the quarterfinals.
Gilas trailed by as many as 12, 20-8, in the first quarter but managed to cut the deficit to just four, 40-44, at the break.
After the intermission, Gilas came out like a different team in the second half and went on the blistering run to take a commanding 83-50 lead.
The Nationals never let go of the gas pedal from there with Luke Atacador leading the charge with 16 points while George Green and Troy Gish had 15 points apiece and a combined 15 rebounds.
Chog Moral also added 12 as the Filipinos finished second in the Group A standings with a 2-1 record, behind the undefeated Australia, 3-0.
