Drug peddler yield P1-M shabu in Lucena City buy-bust

LUCENA CITY, Quezon- Police seized P1 million worth of suspected shabu and arrested a drug peddler in a drug buy-bust operation on Tuesday before dawn, Aug. 18, at Purok Happy Valley, Barangay Ibabang Dupay, in this city.
Police Col. Romulo Albacea, Quezon police director, identified the suspect as Ogie, 36, single, and a resident of the said place.
At about 3:01 a.m., combined police units conducted an anti-illegal drug operation in prior coordination with Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) 4A, which resulted in the arrest of the suspect, who is listed as a high-value individual of the Quezon police.
Drug evidence recovered was three pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing a white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu with an estimated weight of 150 grams, with an estimated Standard Drug Price value of P1,020,000.
Drug-related charges are being prepared against the suspect.
