Rescue operations, forced evacuation of flood victims conducted in Alaminos City

PANGASINAN---Rescue and forced evacuation operations were carried out in Alaminos City as water levels continued to rise in areas considered at risk on Monday, Aug 17.

The City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO), together with members of the Response Cluster, assisted residents who were in danger due to the rising floodwaters.

Authorities appealed to residents in vulnerable areas to cooperate with responders and immediately evacuate.

The city government’s continuing disaster response efforts amid the prevailing weather conditions.

Residents were reminded to remain alert, monitor official advisories, and prioritize their safety and that of their families.

" May mga ilan na halos ayaw pang umalis kaya naman nananawagan awtoridad na makipag cooperate at nang hindi mapahamak" authorities said .

The city government also encouraged the public to cooperate with emergency responders during rescue and evacuation operations.
