Several major roads in Quezon City experienced traffic buildup on Monday afternoon, Aug. 17, as rains continued in the city.
As of 4 p.m., the Quezon City government reported moderate to heavy traffic along Elliptical Road, East Avenue in both directions, Commonwealth Avenue toward Elliptical Road, and Mindanao Avenue toward Quirino Highway.
Moderate traffic was recorded along Katipunan Avenue, North Avenue toward Mindanao Avenue, Visayas Avenue toward Elliptical Road, and Aurora Boulevard in both directions.
Quezon Avenue was moderately moving toward Manila and had light to moderate traffic toward West Avenue, while Del Monte Avenue was moderately moving toward FPJ Avenue.
Light to moderate traffic was recorded along FPJ Avenue in both directions, Visayas Avenue toward Congressional Avenue, and Mindanao Avenue toward Congressional Avenue.
Motorists were advised to exercise caution while traveling as rains continued in the city.
