MANDALUYONG CITY – The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) recently distributed more than ₱76 million in lotto shares to various local government units (LGUs) in Metro Manila.
The turnover ceremony—held at the PCSO Main Office in Mandaluyong City on July 29, 2026— was led by PCSO General Manager Melquiades A. Robles, together with Director Janet De Leon Mercado and Director Jennifer Liongson-Guevara, as part of the agency’s continuing efforts to return a portion of lotto revenues to local communities.
The following cities received their respective lotto shares:
● Caloocan City – ₱18,199,523.57
● Pasig City – ₱12,261,060.29
● Manila City – ₱8,939,282.44
● Las Piñas City – ₱7,978,665.19
● Pasay City – ₱6,584,624.52
● Paranaque City - ₱5,005,244.37
● Muntinlupa City – ₱4,058,355.99
● Navotas City – ₱4,003,241.94
● Makati City – ₱3,502,760.88
● Marikina City – ₱3,025,243.70
● Malabon City – ₱2,529,401.35
The distribution of lotto shares is in accordance with Executive Order No. 357-A, which mandates the allocation of a portion of lotto revenues to local government units to support health, social welfare, and other public service programs that directly benefit citizens.
Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso expressed his gratitude to the PCSO for its continued support to local governments. He said the funds will significantly help finance projects and programs aimed at improving the welfare of Manila residents.
Domagoso said the lotto shares would serve as additional funding to further strengthen city government services, particularly in the healthcare sector. He added that the funds would help expand medical programs and enhance Manila’s healthcare system for the benefit of Manileños.
The PCSO, for its part, underscored the importance of collaboration with local government units to ensure that lottery revenues are properly distributed and utilized for programs that have a direct and positive impact on the lives of Filipinos.
