Liza Soberano fangirls over Billie Joe Armstrong at 'Nimrod' premiere
By Ian Ureta
Filipina actress Liza Soberano joined tons of stars and filmmakers at the Hollywood premiere of the Green Day-inspired comedy "Nimrods," recently.
"Nimrods," directed by Lee Kirk, follows three teenagers who embark on a cross-country trip from Kansas to Los Angeles after believing they have been invited to open for Green Day on New Year's Eve. The story draws inspiration from the punk band's early touring years and features Green Day's music prominently.
The film stars Mason Thames, Kylr Coffman and Ryan Foust, alongside Mckenna Grace, Jenna Fischer, Angela Kinsey, Fred Armisen, Bobby Lee, and Sean Gunn.
Soberano is set to lend her voice to the upcoming animated adventure "Forgotten Island," alongside Dave Franco and H.E.R., which is scheduled for release in September.
