At the 5th HR Excellence Awards Philippines, held at the Grand Hyatt Manila on August 6, Ayala Land Inc. (ALI) dominated the field among 64 competing organizations. The property firm secured the overall top-performing organization title after taking home nine accolades—six gold, two silver, and one bronze—spanning categories such as talent management, employee experience, and digital transformation.
"We're honored by this recognition because it reflects what matters most to us: creating a workplace where people can thrive, grow, and do meaningful work together," said Isa Sagun, ALI Chief Human Resources officer, in her closing remarks at the ceremony. "This recognition belongs to every ALIzen. Building a workplace where people thrive is a collective effort, and this award reflects the passion, dedication, and heart of our entire team."
The string of awards show ALI’s commitment to a workplace where people can grow, thrive, and make a meaningful impact. The property developer is known to invest in its people and foster a culture that empowers employees, thereby creating sustainable communities toward a better nation.
The HR Excellence Awards is one of the country’s most prestigious recognitions for human resources excellence. Organized annually by Human Resources Online, the awards recognize organizations that demonstrate excellence in people practices, innovation, and business impact, with winners selected by an independent panel of senior HR and business leaders across categories spanning talent management, learning and development, employee experience, rewards, digital transformation, and workplace culture.

ALI received the following awards:

Gold — Excellence in Performance Management Evolution
For redesigning performance management into a more transparent, consistent, and digital system through HIVE, standardized goal setting, regular Connect Conversations, and merit-based performance outcomes.
Gold — Excellence in Learning and Development
For building a business-driven learning ecosystem that develops critical capabilities through targeted academies, leadership programs, digital learning, and enterprise-wide access to continuous development.

For building a strong internal talent pipeline through enterprise-wide talent reviews, succession planning, individual development plans, leadership development, and internal career opportunities.

For creating structured internal mobility pathways — including secondments, cross-SBU assignments, transfers, and promotions — that accelerate talent development while meeting critical business needs.

For creating shared value through Ayala Land Carbon Forests, combining climate action with community development in partnership with local communities, NGOs, and indigenous groups to protect and restore forests.
Silver — Excellence in Total Rewards Strategy
For transforming Total Rewards into a unified, performance-driven strategy that aligns pay, benefits, and recognition with business outcomes while strengthening fairness and consistency.
Silver — Excellence in Corporate Wellness

Bronze — Excellence in Digital Transformation
For transforming the end-to-end customer journey through an integrated digital ecosystem that streamlines sales, financing, and customer engagement across Ayala Land's businesses.
Also recognized at the ceremony were some of the country’s leading organizations such as Amazon, AXA, DHL, FedEx, Globe, ING Hubs, Manulife, Maxicare Group, Maya, Nestlé, and Sun Life.
