Marvel Studios has officially assembled its new X-Men team for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The new X-Men film is scheduled to hit theaters on May 5, 2028.
Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige announced the cast during D23 on Friday, Aug. 14, revealing a younger lineup of mutants set to headline the upcoming film.
The upcoming X-Men film reboot is directed by Jake Schreier.
The script features contributions from writers Michael Lesslie, Lee Sung Jin and Joanna Calo.
The announcement marks the first time the iconic mutant team will appear as an official part of the MCU following the conclusion of Fox’s X-Men franchise.
Several of the original Fox-era X-Men actors are also set to return in Marvel’s upcoming "Avengers: Doomsday," where they will cross paths with the MCU’s heroes.
