  • After months of speculation, the Viva HotBabes are officially reuniting for "BULAKLAK: Viva HotBabes Reunion Concert" on October 23 at New Frontier Theater.

So, it has finally happened.

After months of speculation, the Viva HotBabes are officially getting back together. And in grand fashion too.

VAA Live Inc. announced “BULAKLAK: Viva HotBabes Reunion Concert” on Friday, August 14, via a poster reveal on social media.

The poster features Maui Taylor, Katya Santos, Andrea del Rosario, Gwen Garci, Sheree, Jaycee Parker, Ella V., and Jennifer Lee.

The concert will be directed by GB Sampedro, who, although now better known as a filmmaker, has also directed concerts for artists including Mark Bautista and Erik Santos.

For fans wondering why their favorites are not on the poster, VAA Live made clear that more names will be announced.

This is hardly surprising given that the Viva HotBabes had a rotating lineup that, at various points, also included Jen Rosendahl, Myles Hernandez, Kristine Jaca, Hazel Cabrera, Asia Agcaoili, and Anna Leah Javier.

Why they are not in the current lineup is anyone’s guess.

The reunion itself, however, is hardly a surprise.

The possibility had been hanging around for months, beginning with Andrea, who said on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” early this year that it could happen.

Viva, which owns the name and franchise, apparently liked the idea.

Earlier this month, VAA Live posted a teaser showing the silhouettes of several women accompanied by the caption, “REUNION? ANO TARA?”

Apparently, the answer was tara.

The question now is what the Viva HotBabes will do with an entire concert.
They do not exactly have a sprawling catalog. “Bulaklak” is the obvious centerpiece, with “Kikay” another familiar title. Beyond that, there is not much of a songbook to revisit.
But the reunion is less about the hits than the nostalgia.
That is the same currency powering the SexBomb Girls, who have been staging reunion shows since December 2025 and drawing audiences here and abroad.
The difference is that the two groups were never quite the same thing.
The SexBomb Girls were dancers and performers first, sharpened by years of variety-show exposure. The Viva HotBabes, meanwhile, were actresses turned novelty act. They were never about vocal chops or elaborate choreography. Their appeal lay in their image, personalities and catchy material.
That makes this reunion particularly interesting. More than two decades have passed since the group was formed, and the women returning to the stage are no longer the same performers audiences knew in the early 2000s. Many have built careers far removed from the Viva HotBabes brand, and quite a few are now firmly in their hot momma era.
So perhaps this reunion is less about turning back the clock than seeing what time has done to them.
And if the HotBabes are anything to go by, some things only get hotter with age.
