MANDALUYONG CITY — The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) turned over various assistance packages to Barangay San Antonio, Biñan City, Laguna under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program during a ceremony held on August 3, 2026, at the 4th Floor Executive Office of the Sun Plaza Building in Mandaluyong City.
PCSO Board Director Janet De Leon Mercado led the turnover of mobility aids, medical devices, hygiene kits, ChariTimba food packs, and evacuation kits to Barangay San Antonio Chairperson Noel Marcellana Jr.
The assistance aims to support the barangay's health, nutrition, mobility, and disaster preparedness initiatives, particularly for vulnerable residents.
Marcellana thanked PCSO for the assistance, saying the donated items will benefit the residents of Barangay San Antonio. He also welcomed the inclusion of hygiene kits, which will be distributed to women beneficiaries during the barangay's Gender and Development (GAD) activities.
The turnover highlights the continued partnership between PCSO and local government units in delivering essential assistance to communities. Through its CSR Program, the agency continues to complement its charitable mandate by providing support to vulnerable sectors and promoting community resilience nationwide.
