MANDALUYONG CITY — The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) reaffirmed its commitment to promoting the welfare, dignity, and well-being of communities as it recently turned over 250 bags of hygiene kits to the 2nd District of Valenzuela.
Representing the PCSO, Executive Assistant VI Atty. Maria Katrina Nicole Contacto-Ventanilla led the ceremonial turnover on July 23, 2026, at the agency’s Executive Office, 4th Floor, Sun Plaza Building in Mandaluyong City. The hygiene kits were received by Chief of Staff Sherluck Estrella, representing the 2nd District of Valenzuela.
Estrella expressed appreciation to the PCSO for its swift response to their request and for extending support to the women constituents of Valenzuela’s 2nd District.
He likewise thanked the PCSO for recognizing community needs and making assistance accessible to those who need it most.
The initiative was carried out under the PCSO’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program, as part of the agency’s continuing efforts to extend meaningful assistance to communities and support initiatives aligned with Gender and Development (GAD).
Beyond distributing essential supplies, the activity underscored the importance of addressing the practical needs of women and vulnerable sectors while promoting health, dignity, and overall well-being.
