Insta360 X6 officially launches in the Philippines
The new flagship 8K 360 camera arrives with upgraded imaging, an all-in-one shooting experience, and smarter AI-powered creation for Filipino users.
Insta360 officially launched the Insta360 X6 in the Philippines, introducing its newest flagship 8K 360 camera to members of the media, creators, and industry partners during an exclusive media roundtable at The Iron Fairies in BGC.
The Philippine launch follows the global unveiling of X6 and marks the latest expansion of Insta360’s X Series in the local market.
Designed around the idea of making one camera enough, X6 brings together upgraded 360 imaging, flexible shooting modes, and AI-powered editing in one compact device—built for travel, adventure, professional content creation, and everyday moments.
“At Insta360, user feedback is one of our highest priorities. Professional creators and action-sports users understand exactly what they need for demanding workflows, while everyday users know what makes capturing family moments, travel, and daily life easier and more enjoyable. Their feedback helps us distinguish between what is truly essential and what is simply nice to have. In many ways, our users are the co-designers of our next products, helping us create innovations that remain relevant to how content creation continues to evolve,” Henry Hsu, Insta360 Principal Consultant, said.

X6 makes its Philippine debut
Held on August 13 at The Iron Fairies in Bonifacio Global City, the Insta360 X6 Media Roundtable gave local media, creators, and industry partners an exclusive first look at the new flagship through hands-on demonstrations and product experiences.
Guests were able to experience X6’s various shooting modes firsthand and explore how its 360 capture, subject tracking, AI-powered editing, and single-lens capabilities can be applied across a range of shooting scenarios.
Members of the media, creators, and industry partners gather for the official Philippine launch of the Insta360 X6.
Three ways X6 pushes 360 capture further: Flagship imaging, day and night
X6 features custom dual Sony 1/1.1-inch square sensors, delivering a full 1-inch-equivalent 360 imaging experience with stronger detail and improved performance across both daylight and low-light environments.
It captures up to native 8K50fps, while 10-bit color and native in-camera Dolby Vision deliver richer color, greater detail, and more flexibility for both everyday users and professional creators.
One camera, more ways to shoot
X6 is designed as an all-in-one camera that can function as a 360 camera, subject-tracking camera, and single-lens action camera.
Users can shoot everything around them and choose the best angle later, capture flat 4K footage using InstaFrame 2.0, or switch to single-lens mode for a more traditional action-camera experience.
X6 also brings practical upgrades designed for longer and more demanding shoots. Its new 2600mAh Xtreme Battery delivers up to 140 minutes of 8K30fps 360 recording, while Insta360’s Star-Ridge cooling system helps maintain stable performance during sustained 8K shooting.
The camera also includes 64GB of built-in storage, with 47GB usable, allowing users to start recording even without a microSD card installed.
With support for more than 100 accessories, X6 can be adapted for travel, motorcycle riding, cycling, diving, outdoor sports, and other shooting scenarios.
AI-Powered Creation with Less Editing
One of X6’s biggest additions is Insta360 PanoMind, Insta360’s first 360-native AI model built specifically to understand a complete spherical scene rather than a traditional flat frame.
Through AI Director, X6 can analyze footage while the camera is charging and automatically create highlight edits that are delivered to the Insta360 app—reducing the need to manually go through hours of footage.
For users who want more control, Auto Edit 2.0 can turn one or multiple clips into a complete edit with framing, camera movement, cuts, music, and transitions.
This makes X6 particularly well-suited for users who want the freedom of 360 capture without the usual editing workload that follows.
For more advanced workflows, X6 also supports I-Log, 10-bit recording, Insta360 Studio, and Insta360+ cloud-based editing tools.
Beyond the launch: Bringing Insta360 closer to Filipino users
The X6 Media Roundtable is part of Insta360 Philippines’ broader effort to bring its products closer to users through retail expansion, hands-on workshops, and community collaborations.
Following the launch, Insta360 Philippines will continue to conduct workshops through selected authorized retail partners and communities, giving customers the opportunity to experience the cameras firsthand, understand new features, and learn how different shooting modes can fit into their content.
Insta360 Philippines continues to expand its hands-on workshop program through authorized retail partners and local communities, through hands-on activities designed around different creative and lifestyle use cases.
The brand is also building activities with communities in travel, motorcycle riding, cycling, outdoor sports, filmmaking, and other creative fields to demonstrate how 360 capture can be used across different interests and workflows.
“We also strongly believe that the customer experience should continue well beyond the purchase. That is why we are expanding our retail presence across key cities in the Philippines, making our products and local support more accessible. At the same time, we continue to engage our users through hands-on workshops and community activities, helping them understand new features, get more out of their cameras, and fully enjoy the benefits of every Insta360 product they own,” Henry Hsu said.
Rather than limiting product education to online launches and retail displays, Insta360 Philippines aims to maintain an ongoing relationship with users through experiences that allow them to learn directly, ask questions, and discover practical ways to maximize their cameras.
Expanding Insta360's presence in the Philippines
Alongside its community activities, Insta360 Philippines continues to strengthen its retail presence across key cities in the country.
The growing network of authorized retail partners is designed to give customers easier access to Insta360 products, product demonstrations, local support, and hands-on learning opportunities.
This continued expansion is part of Insta360 Philippines’ commitment to improving the overall customer experience—from discovering and purchasing a camera to understanding its features and getting the most value from it over time.
