After scoring just 19 points in the last game, King exploded for 39 points as the Beermen seized control in the second quarter and were hardly threatened the rest of the way to improve their record to 7-2 in Group A.

King, who fired 23 of his total in the second half, also added 10 rebounds and five assists to his name while Rodney Brondial did the dirty work with 13 points and 17 rebounds – 10 of which came from the offensive end.

Don Trollano also kept his fine scoring, firing 21 off the bench while Marcio Lassiter and Jerrick Ahanmisi had 15 and 11 on a combined five triples made.

Tirell Brown had 34 points to pace Titan Ultra which played without Joshua Munzon and had its shooting guard Bryan Sajonia exiting early due to a knee injury in the third frame.

The Giant Risers fell to the bottom of the standings with a 2-7 slate.
