Senior citizen injured in Sta. Mesa bag-snatching

A senior citizen suffered a head injury after falling during an alleged bag-snatching incident along Ramon Magsaysay Avenue in Sta. Mesa, Manila, on Monday night, Aug. 10.

Initial reports said the victim fell after the bag was allegedly snatched, prompting immediate response from the Manila Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) medical team.

Responders provided first aid to the victim before bringing the senior citizen to the nearest hospital for further medical attention.

The incident was also reported to the police for investigation.

Authorities have yet to release details on the victim's condition or identify the person responsible for the bag-snatching.
