Kim Chiu wins Best Global Star at 2nd iMBC Awards

Kim Chiu has earned another international award. She was named  Best Global Star at the 2026 iMBC Awards.
Kim is deeply grateful to fans for making an effort to vote online to secure her victory.

Note that Kim garnered 40.91% of the votes to earn the plum.
She bested Thai actress Film Rachanun Mahawan and Namtan Tipnaree Weerawarnodom.
“Wow!!!! Time, effort, love and support! Maraming maraming salamat po sa inyo!,” post ni Kim sa X.
Her onscreen partner, Paulo Avelino, took home the  Outstanding Asian Star award with 43.63% votes.
The other major winners were IU, who was named Best Korean Actress (50.69% of the vote) and Byeon Woo-seok, who was named Best Korean Actor (49.92% of the vote).
