Boy Abunda on Kris Aquino's return: 'I'm proud of her'

Boy Abunda expressed happiness over the return of his longtime friend and former talk show co-host Kris Aquino.

The “Queen of All Media” landed her first high-profile project recently, a promotional spot for Netflix, amid continued medical treatment and Abunda couldn't be prouder.

“It’s great to see Kris doing what she loves the most. Proud of you, Krissy,” he said.

Abunda and Aquino have worked together on several television programs, including "Aquino & Abunda Tonight," "Boy & Kris," "The Buzz," and "SNN: Showbiz News Ngayon."

Their friendship continued off-camera, with Abunda visiting Aquino while she was undergoing treatment in the United States.

He also previously expressed his desire to work with Aquino on another talk show.

Aquino’s return, however, came with challenges.

Entertainment vlogger Mama Loi previously shared behind-the-scenes details from the shoot, sharing how Aquino dealt with pain and swelling associated with rheumatoid arthritis while at it.

“I saw how hard it was for her,” Mama Loi said.
