Andre Paras shares experience with BAIC B30e Dune as daily driver

BAIC Philippines brand ambassador Andre Paras has been using the B30e Dune Hybrid 4x4 as his daily vehicle, taking it through city traffic, long-distance drives, and rough roads as his work brings him to different locations. For Paras, who says his work locations can change almost every week, reliability is one of his main considerations when choosing a vehicle.
“I need a vehicle I can count on. A vehicle that gives me peace of mind every time I get behind the wheel. Since my work locations change almost every week, I'm constantly driving long distances, dealing with heavy traffic, and navigating rough roads. That's why reliability is a must. My BAIC B30e checks all the boxes, delivering the performance I need while also standing out with its stylish design.”
Paras said he also did his homework before buying the B30e Dune, reading reviews and comments from existing owners on social media.
“Before getting my BAIC, I did a lot of research and read plenty of reviews from social media groups by existing owners. Naturally, I had high expectations but once I experienced it for myself, it exceeded every one of them. From the day I drove it out of the showroom until now, it's given me nothing but confidence and peace of mind. Choosing BAIC is one of the best decisions I've made, and I haven't regretted it for a single moment.”
One feature he frequently points to is the B30e Dune Hybrid 4x4's seven drive modes. Paras says he has so far used Eco, Comfort, and Sport, leaving four other modes available for different road and driving conditions.
“One of the features I appreciate most is the different drive modes. I chose the BAIC B30e 4x4 because it comes with seven drive modes that I can easily switch between depending on the road or driving conditions. So far, I've only needed to use three (Eco, Comfort, and Sport) but knowing there are four more available gives me a real sense of confidence. It reassures me that no matter where my adventure takes me or what type of road lies ahead, my BAIC is ready for it.”
While the B30e Dune is positioned as an off-road-capable SUV, Paras says much of his experience with it has involved ordinary daily driving. This includes dealing with traffic and tight parking spaces, as well as traveling to locations where road conditions can be less predictable.
“I'm proud to call my BAIC B30e my daily driver, no coding! It's the kind of vehicle that gives me the confidence to go wherever I need to, without worrying about the roads ahead. Whether I'm navigating tight parking spaces at the mall or heading off the beaten path for my next adventure or work location, it handles every situation with ease. Fuel consumption is another area where Paras says the switch to the hybrid has affected his daily driving. Compared with vehicles he previously owned, he says he now worries less about fuel expenses when planning longer trips or driving through heavy traffic.
“Having my B30e vehicle as my daily car has completely changed the way I drive. I no longer worry every time I stop at a gas station because I know I won't be spending as much on fuel compared to the cars I used to own. Honestly, I don't even think twice about planning my trips anymore. Whether it's a long road trip or getting stuck in traffic, I know I'm still saving on gas. What gives me even more confidence is knowing I'm ready for any road condition.”
Paras also cited the B30e Dune's size and interior space. Despite his height, he says there is enough room for him inside while the vehicle remains manageable for regular city use.
“At the end of the day, peace of mind means everything to me. I don't want to spend my journeys worrying about what could happen to my vehicle or whether the road ahead will be a challenge. With the BAIC B30e's perfect size, capability, drive modes, style, and reliability, I always feel confident wherever I go.
