QCPD covered 94 religious services

The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) provided security coverage during 94 religious services across Quezon City from July 31 to Aug. 6.
The week-long operation was conducted under Project Bathala to help ensure the peaceful and orderly conduct of religious gatherings at churches, mosques, and other places of worship.
A total of 233 QCPD personnel were deployed to provide security coverage during the services, while the initiative recorded an estimated 6,321 attendees.
The QCPD also distributed 517 information flyers to promote awareness of safety and security measures.
QCPD Director PBGEN Randy Glenn Silvio said the police force remains ready to provide adequate security to all sectors of society.
“Nananatiling nakahanda ang QCPD na magbigay ng sapat na seguridad sa lahat ng sektor ng lipunan (The QCPD remains ready to provide adequate security to all sectors of society),” Silvio said.
He urged the public to remain vigilant and immediately report any suspicious activity to the nearest police station or through the QC Helpline 122/E911 to help maintain peace and order in the city.
