Heart Evangelista reveals she gave away diamond ring from ex-BF after painful breakup

Heart Evangelista did not keep the diamond ring an ex-boyfriend gave her after a painful breakup. She gave it away to charity instead.

The actress-host shared the story on a recent episode of her GMA game show, "The People Have Spoken," while answering the question: "Hindi maayos ang break up niyo ng jowa mong nagtaksil sayo. Ano ang gagawin mo sa mga regalo niya?"

Heart recalled receiving a heart-shaped diamond ring from an ex-boyfriend who had proposed to her. But after their relationship ended badly, she decided not to hold on to the expensive gift.

"Merong nag-propose sa akin dati. Binigyan niya ako ng heart na diamond. Sobrang heartbroken ko, pinamigay ko siya sa charity," Heart said.

The ring was not the only gift she parted with.

Heart also revealed that she sold a necklace given to her by the same former boyfriend.

"Yung isang necklace na binigay niya sa akin, binenta ko," she added.

Heart did not identify the former boyfriend she was referring to.

Before marrying Senator Chiz Escudero in 2015, Heart had been in several high-profile relationships. She has previously been linked to prominent personalities, although she did not say which past relationship she was referring to in the episode.

For Heart, at least in this particular breakup, keeping expensive reminders of an ex was clearly not an option. One piece became a charitable donation, while another became something she simply decided to sell.
