Call center agent killed in motorcyle crash in Cebu City

CEBU CITY–A call center agent died after the motorcycle he was driving collided with a taxi here early Monday morning, Aug. 10.

The fatal road crash happened at the intersection of Osmeña Boulevard and R. Landon Street.

The fatality was identified as Ariel Tenedo, 25, a resident of Barangay Sapangdako, Cebu City.

The incident was captured by a security camera.

In the video, the taxi that came from Osmeña Boulevard turned left to R. Landon when it was rammed by Tenedo’s speeding motorcycle. The impact threw the driver off the motorcycle.

Police said the victim was already dead when responders from the Cebu City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) arrived.

Companions of the victim told poilce that they had a few drinks before they decided to go home.

The taxi driver was taken into police custody after the incident.
