Nikki Gil receives second degree in interior design, awarded best thesis

Former actress and singer Nikki Gil reached a new academic milestone after earning her Bachelor of Science in Interior Design degree from the SoFA Design Institute.

Nikki announced the news on Instagram, sharing clips taken during the graduation ceremony.

Note she graduated with the highest distinction and received the Best Thesis Award.

Looking back on her journey, Nikki thanked her husband, Bryan, and their children, Finn and Maddie, for supporting her throughout the process.

"Grateful to my family, friends, classmates, professors, and staff at SoFA Design Institute. And to my little unit: thank you to my dear husband @bj_albert who has always been supportive of my pursuit of this dream, and to my Finn and Maddie who grew up alongside this degree ???? thank you for being part of the journey ????," Nikki wrote.

Nikki received her diploma onstage alongside her family.

In July, Nikki celebrated a milestone in her academic journey successfully defending her thesis.

"A little proud of this one ???????????? Proof to myself that I can still do hard things. ???? Last time I used this part of my brain was 17 years ago lol," she wrote on Instagram.
