Lovely Abella, emotional after scammers used her identity to dupe people

Lovely Abella-Manalo became emotional as she called out scammers using her identity to deceive people and collect money.

The actress posted an emotional video on Facebook to warn the public about it while appealing to those behind the fake accounts to stop victimizing others.

"Napakasakit, biktima din po ako ng mga scammer, ginagamit ang video ko, ginagamit ang photo ko para makapangscam sila, madaming nag aakala na ako yun dahil video ko yun," Lovely wrote on her caption.

According to Lovely, the scammers re-uploaded her videos, created fake pages, and use forged certificates to deceive buyers. They also threaten customers and use AI-edited videos to advertise fake jewelry prices.

She added that the scammers may have a courier accomplice. Lovely reminded customers that her business accepts payments only through bank transactions, not cash on delivery.

Despite the frustration of seeing her identity being used to deceive others, Lovely said she continues to pray for the people behind the scam.

"Kahit saan kalat na ang mukha ko pero kay LORD ako nagsusumbong, na sana hawakan niya ang puso ng mga scammer ????”

Lovely then urged the scammers to stop deceiving people.

"Maawa po kayo sa mga nabibiktima ninyo, sana magkaron kayo ng takot sa DIYOS sa mga ginagawa ninyo. ???????????? Masarap po magkaron ng pera na galing sa Panginoon hindi sa Demonyo!!! Wag po kayo magpalinlang, wag niyo po sirain ang integridad ninyo para sa PERA!! Magtrabaho po kayo ng patas!! ????????????,” she ended.

Lovely has repeatedly warned followers about fake accounts. She advised customers to deal only with her verified social media pages and official bank accounts.
