CSC suspends August 9 civil service exams in Metro Manila, parts of Luzon amid inclement weather

The Civil Service Commission (CSC) has suspended the Career Service Examination-Pen and Paper Test for the Professional and Subprofessional levels scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 9, in several areas in Luzon due to heavy rains caused by the enhanced southwest monsoon (habagat).
The suspension covers all testing centers in the National Capital Region, as well as centers in Batangas, Cavite, Laguna, and Rizal in Region 4, and Baguio, La Trinidad, and Abra in the Cordillera Administrative Region.
CSC said the decision was made due to the potential impact of the weather on the safety and accessibility of examinees, examination personnel, and other stakeholders.
Affected examinees are advised to monitor the official Facebook pages of the concerned CSC Regional Offices and the commission's official communication channels for updates on the rescheduled examinations and other related announcements.
